The Holidays are Upon Us!

The holidays are upon us and with the hustle & bustle of the season, it's important to stop and appreciate the things we are blessed with; Family, Friends, Health, Wellness & Happiness. It's been a very busy season with planning the Christmas festivities & Arden's first birthday party! She's turning 2 on New Year's Eve and her birthday party is on January 2nd. We'll be sure to post pictures!

We started a family tradition this year by attending "Jungle Bells" at The San Diego Zoo. It was magical! We rode the Tour Bus around the park before dark and when the sun went down, it was all about the lights!!!! We even made it back to the entrance to watch the tree lighting. Then we hopped on the Express Bus where you can get on & off at different stops. We took that to the newest exhibit "Elephant Odyssey" to check out the "hybrid ice" skating rink. It was a little odd (even after living here almost 20 years) that people were ice skating in shorts and tank tops. Santa was also there! It was a blast and we are looking forward to next year!

Arden got to see Santa again. This time she was more than ready. He even told her "I've been waiting for you to come see me." That really made her day! This time around she was able to tell him what she wanted for Christmas: "helmet & bike".
