Arden had her very first birthday party on January 2, 2010 at beautiful Lake Poway. It turned out to be a gorgeous day with temps hitting 80 degrees (in January!). The party was a success and Arden had a blast decorating cupcakes, bashing the pinata and just spending time with her friends. Here are a few photos of her special day!
Let them eat cupcakes!!!Since our little cupcake turned 2, we decided to throw a 'cupcake themed' party. I decorated aprons with each child's name so they could decorate their very own cupcakes 'chef style'. It was really fun to watch Arden and her friends make their cupcakes. And they all looked adorable in their aprons.
Arden's apron was a bit more decorated than the other kids since it was her day! I sewed on a couple of cupcake appliques to her's and pinned on a ribbon that read: "I'm 2!". Adorable!
