Easter - Twenty Ten!

Easter 2010 was a lovely day (besides the earthquake that shook SoCal)!!!! The Easter Bunny was very good to Arden this year. She left him a snack of carrots, lettuce & an Easter egg (and a note). He left her a very nice basket full of a hodge-podge of goodies!! She was thrilled that 'he' even hid her colored eggs all over the house.

We colored eggs on Easter Eve with cousin Kerry & Gramma Rose. Arden loves when her cousin comes to visit....she asks me daily if Kerry is coming over. (" Is Kerry coming ova?")

We had a nice brunch with family & friends and then took the kids outside to find all of the plastic eggs that the Easter Bunny left. How exciting!

After that was all said and done, we all layed down for a quiet afternoon nap. That's when the 7.2 earthquake hit! It was the biggest, longest shake I've felt in all the years I've lived in Southern CA. It lasted so long (usually they only last a few seconds) that I had to wake Arden from her nap and find a safe place. Since then, there have been hundreds of aftershocks (over 900 reported on the news last night).

Let's hope & pray that we won't have to experience that again!
