Since there was lots of rain this winter, the Falls were rushing with water. It was a nice little hike from where our campsite was. We spent the morning dipping our feet in the chilly water & just enjoying the gorgeous views.
Sunset was my favorite part of the day! Although the weather was gorgeous, it was a little hot in the sun (90+ degrees). The evenings were perfect (low 50's) which meant it was time to get the fire going and start roasting some marshmallows!
When we went camping in Big Bear last year, our small tent only fits 2-4 ppl. It's really perfect for two people but it was hard to maneuver around in it. So....we got ourselves a new 8 person tent with a 6 ft center height (yay! standing room!). We weren't playing around this time. We needed lots of room to move. It really made the camping experience sooooo much better.
This has to be one of the funniest videos I've seen in a long time. :) We were walking back from the Falls and Arden is verrrry sleepy. Really, there's no explanation needed. Just take a looksie for yourself. Love to all! Have a wonderful summer!
