Here's a recent video of Anderson strengthening his little neck & back muscles. He loves being on his tummy and is already starting to grab at objects and put them straight in his mouth. He's also taken to sucking his thumb....a habit that I'm not looking forward to. He'll go in for his 4 month checkup next month and we're anxious to see how much he weighs. When we weigh him at home on our scale he's weighing over 16 lbs already. What a chunker!
Arden is doing great, too! Her bedtime routine has been challenging lately but she's such a good girl. I'm sure it's 'the age' but I'm also certain that having a new baby around the house is starting to have it's effects on her. Even still, she's been such a great 'mommy's little helper' and has been using the potty and washing her hands all by herself (and doing a thorough job at it, too)! She starts preschool next month and she'll need to be able to do those things for herself. She is also great at her ABC's and numbers. She recognizes almost all of the letters and can even write A, D, H, & I. We're trying to get her to practice writing her own name (on one occasion she did) but it can be a bit difficult for a 3 yo to focus for more than 10 seconds.
