Anderson's 1st Year Stats

Anderson is ONE!!  Our little big baby boy is officially a toddler! (*sniff sniff*)  He's been growing like a weed and a couple of weeks before he turned one, he began the journey of walking!  Now he's walking all over the house - there's no stopping him now!  

He LOVES playing with Arden!  Anything Arden has he wants.  Anything Arden is doing, he will attempt.  She can always calm him down with singing or screeching.  Any loud noises makes him smile.  He's definitely one of those boys who likes to make a lot of noise!

The week before turning one he cut four new teeth - that's a total of 10 new choppers!  He's drinking whole milk now and he loves feeding himself.  Whether it be solid foods or his bottle, he loves helping himself.  So, feeding him more 'liquid-y' foods is a challenge (i.e., yogurt, cereal or oatmeal)

In addition to walking, he's meeting milestones right on time.  He's dancing, playing peek-a-boo, CLIMBING - oh the climbing!, taking direction and pointing out pictures in his board books.  Right now he just LOVES balloons.  He says: "ba ba" for balloon and is constantly walking around the house holding the balloon string.  He points at them and will look for it as soon as he wakes up.  It's become a good tool to distract him while changing his diaper!  

Here are Anderson's 1st year pics minus the 'sign'.  The sign was a great concept but not for a child who would destroy it before I could even take the picture.  He'd rather eat dandelions.  

At Anderson's 1st year baby well visit, he received 4 vaccines and of course, he didn't like them one bit.  But, in seconds he stopped crying.  What a trooper!
