In July, we had family come to town...Mimi, Grandpa Frank & Auntie Harleigh! We had a lot of fun enjoying the summer with family. We went to Newport Beach with Mimi & Grandpa Frank one day and we had a blast! We went to Crystal Cove - an awesome beach getaway! We had lunch at The Beachcomber Cafe right on the sand. We had the best patio seat in the house! Mimi and I also explored the beach cottages a bit scoping out the one we plan on renting for a future trip! (*True Fact: there's a cottage there that was used in the movie Beaches!) We went tide pooling and the kids had so much fun exploring! Here are a few pictures from our trip to the O.C. :)

The tide pools were really cool! Arden had fun exploring and Anderson just tried to navigate the rocky pools. We did see some cool sealife; a star fish, sea anenome, different small fish, & lots of tiny crabs. Did I mention the barnacles! Ouch! So glad I brought their aqua shoes!!
