The Marshall Family is thrilled to announce that our newest little addition (still baking in the oven, of course) is a BOY!!!!!! We are exactly half-way through the pregnancy and have 20 more weeks to go! The due date was originally set for April 11th, 2011 but was bumped up just a tad to April 8th, 2011. I guess it's really up to the little guy when he'll decide to make his big debut.
The ultrasound went very well. They measured everything, checked all of the organs, and counted all fingers and toes. The baby was (as has been) extremely active so it was a little difficult for the sonographer to get the perfect 'shot' the first time. She kept having to re-take the pics because baby boy Marshall just wouldn't sit still. Ahhhh, I guess this is just a precursor to what we're in for with a little boy.
Now....what to do with all of the cute little girl clothes we had saved from Arden? I guess we'll just hold on to those just in case we need them in the future. Luckily, we thought ahead when picking out items for Arden and got all 'gender neutral' baby gear for our next baby....good thinking on our part. Otherwise, he'd be sitting in a pink car seat, pack n' play, and stroller. ;)
I would have loved to add the ultrasound picture to this blog entry, but our scanner isn't working correctly. (boo hoo!) We have to get a color cartridge before we can start scanning. Pics to come!
